Course Management
Administrators use the course management features to upload and configure courses, and determine which user groups or individual users
should see the courses. Every course has a unique course launch link (URL), which can for example be included in email invitations.
Reach provides an inline course replace function, allowing a course to be updated, for example a bug fix applied, without altering the course
launch link and without impacting existing user history.
Course Catalogue
Once logged in, leaners are presented with a personalised course catalogue, listing the courses that have been assigned to them. Learners can quickly filter the list to show courses they have yet to start, courses they have completed and courses they are part way through. Learners can restart partially completed courses and pick up where they left off. Learners can search the catalogue to quickly locate courses and can launch courses with a single click.
eCommerce Storefront
You can use the Reach platform to advertise and sell your own eLearning courses via an integrated storefront. As with the entire Reach interface,
you can brand the storefront to match your own company requirements.
Any courses identified as "purchasable" in the Reach course catalogue are automatically included in your store's searchable catalogue. The course
is displayed with any associated marketing materials that you can add, incuding a course outline or syllabus (as a PDF download), the price and
an image of the course.
Customisation
Every organisation receives their own Reach address, for example yourcompanyname.lumo-reach.com. Your Reach user interface can be completely rebranded to reflect your own corporate look and feel. You can specify fonts, colour choices and corporate logo.
Course Scheduling
Administrators can establish individual course availability rules and define course schedules. Customisable email reminders can be automatically sent to users who have not completed courses within the prescribed timesframes. Administrators can determine whether courses can be retaken once completed.
User Management
User accounts can be pre-loaded via a bulk upload facility or you can enable self-registration. When self-registration
mode is enabled, it can be further restricted by requiring users to register with email addresses from specific email domains.
Administrators can define which elements of user profile data should be maintained for each user (and displayed on reports) and which
items should be mandatory.
Reporting
Managers can track learners by generating reports to show which users have taken which courses and the scores they have achieved. The standard reports also include start and completion dates, course duration and much more. Reports can be displayed online or downloaded in a variety of different file formats including PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, and TIFF. Reports can also be customised if needed.
All of the emails sent from Reach are template-driven and fully customisable. You can control email addresses, subject lines, body and signatures. Email logging ensures that you have a history of all email transmission.
Scorm Compliant
Reach is fully SCORM compliant meaning that you can upload any SCORM compliant eLearning course irrespective of your choice of authoring tool.
